The Littman Brothers story began in 1979, with one small retail store in the Chicago area importing ceiling fans and lighting fixtures from Taiwan under our own private "Littman Bros." label.
As an early pioneer in the importing and selling of high quality ceiling fans, we operated through a single retail store and within 10 years grew our business exponentially to 25 retail outlets. From the humble beginnings in 1979 of that first 1,000 square foot retail storefront over 26 years ago; we have expanded Littman Bros. Lighting to a 10,000+ square-foot custom lighting gallery showroom in Schaumburg, Illinois and a completely comprehensive virtual showroom online to cater to customers worldwide.
With access to over 200 lighting, furniture and home accessory manufacturers to offer customers, we have what you need. Whether you are looking for bathroom vanity lighting or modern light fixtures for the bathroom, chandeliers, pendants, island lighting, under cabinet light for kitchens, wall sconces, ceiling medallions, ceiling fans, ceiling lighting fixtures, outdoor lighting fixtures, exterior modern lighting fixtures, landscape lighting, commercial lighting or industrial grade fixtures for large developments, we have it.
We also carry product from all of the most popular lighting, fans, and accessories dealers, including Hunter ceiling fans and Kichler Lighting.
As market conditions have changed, we've changed with them to adapt to the needs of our customers. In 1999 we launched www.LittmanBros.com, our online showroom, to bring the selection and service of our local lighting gallery to customers all over the country.
LittmanBros.com was one of the first online fan and lighting retailers well before the e-commerce shopping boom in the mid 90's - and has subsequently evolved into the full service and comprehensive website that you enjoy today. Since the inception of the website, we have been developing partnerships with our vendors to offer our customers unlimited product selection at the most competitive pricing in our market, and above all, to offer above the mark customer service levels.
